RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Religious Education registration will be every Saturday in the month of September from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. downstairs at the McIntyre Hall.
The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes are offered to students from Grades 1-12; Baptism, First Communion and/or Confirmation Preparations. CCD classes are on Saturdays, starting on October from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It is important that at least one parent or guardian attend the first day of class.
St. Basil Church also offers the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) to the following: Catechumens, who are unbaptized adults who wish to learn about the Catholic Faith and the
possibility of becoming Catholic, Candidates for Profession of Faith who are Christians from other faith traditions who would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith and the possibility of joining the Catholic Church, and Candidates who are baptized Catholics who have not received Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. Classes for RCI Youth, 2nd Year Confirmation and RCIA are on Sundays and starts October from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Requirements to bring at registration: - Original Birth Certificate*
- Original Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- First Communion Certificate (if applicable) - Class Completion Certificate (if applicable) - Fee (fees are subject to change)
